Since 2004 the SAO is a member of ASOSAI (www.asosai.org). ASOSAI is the Asian organization INTOSAI, which brings together the highest audit bodies of 47 countries. The goal of ASOSAI is to facilitate close cooperation among the SAIs globally and to facilitate the trainings of public auditors.
The highest body of ASOSAI is the Governing Board, which meets once a year, and the Secretariat, which is currently with the National Audit Office of China.
The SAO is a member of ASOSAI working Group on Environmental Audit (WGEA)
The SAO attends trainings and seminars organized by ASOSAI or its member supreme audit institutions, which facilitates institutional development process.
