Within the project, public procurement system and related data was analyzed, with the assistance of international experts that enhanced analytical capacity of the SAO staff through specialized data analysis programmes and training courses.
Project Outcomes:
- Analysts of the SAO have passed the following certification and training courses: Database Processing and Analysis (Querying Microsoft SQL), Professional Certification in Data Science, Data Science for Managers.
- Specialized big data analysis software were purchased: Caseware IDEA and Tableau data visualization software.
- The video clip on big data was recorded and posted on the World Bank website and other spaces (see: https://www.worldbank.org/en/news/video/2018/11/22/georgia-making-big-data-work-for-governance).
