- Since 1992 the SAO is a member of INTOSAI (www.intosai.org). INTOSAI is an independent organization that provides high quality auditing standards for the public sector and promotes good governance. INTOSAI includes 201 members around seven regional groups of AFROSAI, ARABOSAI, ASOSAI, CAROSAI, EUROSAI, OLACEFS and PASAI. The supreme organ of INTOSAI is the International Congress of Supreme Audit Institutions - INCOSAI convenedevery once every three years.

- The SAO collaborates with the INTOSAI Development Initiative (IDI) and is involved in its projects.
- The SAO is also involved in the INTOSAI-Donor Cooperation is a strategic global partnership meetings exploring opportunities for donor assistance.
