The auditors submitted reports on forest management to the parliament 09 November, 2021

At the meeting of the Standing Working Group on Audit Reports in Parliament, the state auditors presented two performance reports.

To the members of the working group and the audit facilities, the auditors presented the findings and recommendations outlined in the “Forest Fire Management (Prevention, Preparedness) Audit Report” and the “Commercial and Social Management Response Audit Report”.

During the review of the reports, the state auditors answered the questions of the MPs.

Audit Facilities – The Emergency Management Agency, as well as representatives of the LEPL National Forest Agency, Agency for Protected Areas, Department of Environment and Agriculture, spoke about the status of implementation of audit recommendations and presented their views on the reports.

The meeting of the working group held in the Parliament was attended by the Deputy Auditor General – Davit Gogichaishvili, Head of the Audit Department of Defense, Public Order and Security – Sophio Dvalishvili, Head of the Audit Department of General Public Service – Giorgi Kekelishvili.
