The members of the working group discussed two audit reports: „Performance Audit Report on the Promotion of Occupational Safety Conditions” and „Compliance Audit Report on the LEPL Scientific-Research Center of Agriculture”.
The group members were introduced the presentations on reducing the risks of natural disasters in the context of climate change, as well as on various activities implemented by the Emergency Situations Service.
The report highlights the results of audits; the implementation status of recommendations; cooperation with the Parliament; participation in international professional organizations; professional development of staff; and other significant matters.
During the committee hearing, the Auditor General of Georgia Giorgi Gabitashvili, discussed both the macroeconomic and fiscal frameworks of the draft law on the state budget.
Within the framework of cooperation with the INTOSAI, the SAO of Georgia is hosting a delegation from the SAO of the Kingdom of Thailand, led by the Auditor General H.E. Mr. Monthien Charoenpol.
