The Standing Working Group on Audit Reports in Parliament held a regular session where state auditors presented two reports in the economic field.
Representatives of the State Audit Office briefed parliamentarians on the findings and recommendations outlined in the Internal Audit Assistance Management Project (SRAMP) 2020 Audit Report. The members of the legislature had many questions during the audit of the World Bank-funded project, especially regarding the deadlines for the implementation of the recommendations. The questions of the parliamentarians were answered by the audetees - the heads of the Department of Roads and the state auditors.
The parliamentarians also listened to the findings and recommendations related to the activities of the Mountain Resorts Development Company Ltd. for 2018-2019. Mariam Kvrivishvili, Deputy Minister of Economy and the Audit Office talked about the status and implementation of the recommendations.
The sitting of the working group held in the Parliament was attended by the Deputy Auditor General - Davit Gogichaishvili, Leading Auditor of the General Public Service Audit Department Nana Vachadze and Leading Auditor of the Economic Audit Department Maka Chikhoria.
