At the online meeting, the auditors of the State Audit Office shared their experience and expertise with the representatives of the Turkish Court of Accounts (Turkish Court of Accounts) regarding the performance audit process.
Within framework of the exiting bilateral cooperation three online meetings have been hosted between the two Supreme Audit Institutions.
On their part, the representatives of the Turkish Court of Accounts shared their experience in the field of Audit of State-Owned Enterprises (SOE), proceeded by the joint review of the international auditing and reporting standards.
On the basis of professional cooperation, Supreme Audit Institutions have expressed their readiness to renew their Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).
From the side of the Turkish Court of Account the meetings have been attended by the Principal Auditors, Ms Çiğdem Aslankara and Mr Cüneyt Avşar, and Principal Auditor within the International Relations Department, Mr Mehmet Balioğlu. The State Audit Office of Georgia was represented by the Head of Performance audit Department Mr Giorgi Kapanadze, Senior Auditor-Assistant Ms Natia Chkhvirkia, and the Head of Donor Relations Division, Ms Nino Kereselidze.
