STATE AUDIT OFFICE OF GEORGIA

The State Audit Office has completed the cycle of sessions within the programme organized by the Netherlands Court of Audit (NCA) 14 November, 2022

Within the scope of the project financed by the Government of the Netherlands, experince sharing sessions have been conducted with the participation of the Supreme Audit Institutions of Georgia, Sweden, North Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Moldova, Romania and Ukraine.

The State Audit Office of Georgia is a leading organization among the SAIs of Eastern European countries in digitalization of audit planning and monitoring process and stakeholder engagement of donor organizations.

At the meetings, the representatives from the State Audit Office presented to their colleagues the strategic development planning process, the strategic goals of the office and their achievement, as well as monitoring and reporting processes. At the meetings, attention has been focused on the implemented practice of cooperation with the stakeholders, including the involvement of external parties - Parliament, society, media within the process of strategy formulation and implementation, risk-based audit topic selection, audit cycle and monitoring, implementation of recommendations and evaluation of their impact.

The meetings have been convened by the initiative of the Netherlands Audit Office (NCA), within the scope of the Constituency Programme financed by the Ministry of Finance of the Netherlands, which has been running for 4 years and this year has been dedicated to sharing experience on strategic planning and integrity ultimately increasing experience and awareness.

The representatives from the Strategic Planning and Donor Relations Divisions within the State Budget and Strategic Analysis Department have been Tsotne Karkashadze, Shota Jamburidze, Nino Kereselidze, Mariam Danelia, Salome Verulashvili, Sophiko Khachidze.
