The State Audit office will participate in the international coordinated audit together with various European Supreme Audit Institutions.
Within the framework of the coordinated performance audit on the management of the forest fires, the audit institutions participating in the parallel audit will evaluate the joint findings and issue joint recommendations.
The joint audit report will be issued within the framework of EUROSAI, under the leadership of the Accounting Chamber of Ukraine.
In order to determine the future priorities of the working group, the meeting was held with the engagement of 14 European audit institutions and state audit office of Georgia – defense, public order and security audit department.
The head of the department, Sophio Dvalishvili, introduced the results of the performance audit on the management (prevention, preparedness) of emergency situations caused by forest fires to the participats and shared the experience of the audit.
The State Audit office participated in five international parallel audits together with the Supreme Audit Institutions of various countries, including as the coordinator of the audit in the one case.
