The State Audit Office, within the framework of cooperation and partnership, hosted the delegation from the Supreme Audit Institution of the Court of Accounts of the Republic of Moldova.
During the visit, the members of the delegation got familiar with the working processes of the departments within the SAO in the areas of audit planning, information technology, organizational development and communication.
The Moldovan colleagues were interested in the experience of the Georgian side in the performance measurement framework evaluation (SAI-PMF) of the Georgian SAI by the Development Initiative of the International Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (INTOSAI IDI).
The representatives of the Court of Accounts of the Republic of Moldova received information about the new tools from the practices introduced by the State Audit Office, in particular - about the audit management system (AMS) and the audit recommendation implementation system (ARIS).
The Georgian and Moldovan colleagues discussed the topics of the risk-based audit planning, human resource management, and state budget analysis.
The parties also shared strategies and practices on cooperation and communication with the Parliament, stakeholders, including audit entities, donor organizations, the media and the non-governmental sector.
