The Auditor General presented the report of the State Audit Office on the amendments to the 2022 state budget in the Parliament.
In the report prepared by the SAO, remarks and opinions have been expressed on all important areas, including – on the updated macroeconomic parameters, fiscal deficit, fiscal risk assessment issues, updated debt parameters, separate categories of budget revenues, budget expenditures, including program and capital budgeting issues.
Changes to the law on the " State Budget of 2022" are related to higher than expected economic performance recorded during the year, on the basis of which the Ministry of Finance adjusted the forecasts of macroeconomic parameters and, accordingly, the state budget.
