The SAO presented to the Working Group the findings and recommendations on the " Compliance audit report of the state procurement management". The audit report is systematic and covered 10 ministries, nine institutions under their jurisdictions and three state universities.
The audit covered several main areas: determining the need for purchase and market research; description of the subject of procurement and requirements for the bidders; supplier selection-evaluation; streamlined procurement and subcontracting.
The state auditors discussed the findings. Among the audit findings were issued seven recommendations to the auditees and the State Procurement Agency.
The main respondent to the presented recommendations was the State Procurement Agency, which informed the MPs about the status of implementation of the recommendations. According to the information, the part of the recommendations have been implemented by the ministries and entities and another part is ongoing.
