The Standing Working Group on Audit Reports in the Parliament held a regular session where the members of the group presented the „Financial Audit Report of Tax Revenues in the 2021 Consolidated Financial Statements of Organizations Funded by the State Budget“.
The auditees were the subordinate agencies of the Ministry of Finance - the Revenue Service and the Treasury Service.
Giorgi Kekelishvili, Head of the General State Services Audit department, presented the findings and recommendations of the audit report to the members of the Working Group and the representatives of the auditees.
The members of the Working Group had questions regarding to the accounting standards, on which the representatives of the State Audit Office and the Ministry of Finance expressed their positions.
Representatives of the Ministry of Finance shared the findings and recommendations made during the financial audit of tax revenues. According to the representatives of the auditees, the Agency is ready to take into account the recommendations of the SAO during the preparation of the 2023 financial report.
