The meeting of the International Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (INTOSAI) Development Initiative (IDI) was hosted in Tbilisi, with the IDI starting implementing a new initiative - "SAI Governance Academy".
The program includes theoretical and practical issues of strategic and human resource management, risk analysis and leadership skills in SAIs, aimed at improvement of the organizational, financial management and digitization processes.
In his opening address, the Auditor General Tsotne Kavlashvili underlined that we are very much honored to be engaged in the SAI Governance Academy program. We believe that the Academy will help us to establish high-quality strategic and operational governance and set up integrated mechanisms for the next solid performance.
The five-day working meeting was attended by the representatives of the SAIs from INTOSAI member countries, including the State Audit Office.
