INTOSAI IDI introduced a new initiative (pICTure) to the representatives of Supreme Audit Institutions of Georgia, France, the Netherlands, Turkey, Brazil, Bhutan, Nepal and Madagascar at a meeting in Istanbul, which serves to strengthen the governance of information and communication technologies in SAIs.
The aim of the pICTure initiative is to introduce services/products based on Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) and use a design approach in work processes.
The meeting was attended by Nino Pruidze, Chief Budget Analyst of the State Budget Analysis Division, who presented the analytical web platform „Budget Monitor“ to the participants of the meeting and shared the experience of the State Audit Office.
Within the framework of the workshops, the representatives of SAIs discussed the implementation and development of ICT technologies, the substance, benefits and risks of designer approaches together with experts of various profiles.
