Members of the Working Group of the Parliament discussed the audit report on the SRAMP project 11 December, 2023

The Standing Audit Group on Audit Reports at the Parliament discussed the 2022 performance audit report related to the „Secondary Road Asset Management Project" (SRAMP) financed by the World Bank.

Tornike Shermadini, the Head of the Economic Activities Audit Department, presented the findings and recommendations of the audit report to the PMs. The audit report describes interim financial reports (IFR) to verify the expenses incurred within the project, the process of rehabilitation works, procurement and its subsequent implementation, compensation funds according to the resettlement action plan and the integration of road safety in the asset management process and other important matters.

The representatives of the audited entiry – Roads Department of Georgia having discussed the recommendations issued by the auditors, noted about their full implementation.

The Standing Audit Group on Audit Reports convened its last meeting this year. In 2023 the Working Group discussed 23 audit reports.
