The Head of the Audit Department in the Autonomous Republic of Adjara of the State Audit Office, Kakhaber Kirtava, presented an opinion on the budget execution report of the republic budget of the Republic of Adjara in 2023 issued by the Government, as well as the conclusion of the State Audit Offices on the draft law of the republican budget in 2024 of the Republic of Adjara at the plenary of the Supreme Council.
The report assesses the state of revenues and payments provided for in the 2023 Republic budget of Adjara, the obtained results and the factors that influenced the process of public finance management. The report mentions that the timely and balanced utilization of budget allocations is important both for presenting the budget performance with a real indicator and for ensuring purposeful and effective spending of budget funds.
The report prepared by the SAO on the draft law on the budget of the Autonomous Republic of Adjara for 2024 outlines the reasonability and legality of the ravenue and expenditures provided in the draft budget law.
The report focuses on the current affairs and important issues in the implementation of the 2023 budget of the Autonomous Republic of Adjara, based on which the correctness of the data presented in the draft law has been assessed.
