The auditors of the SAO held working meetings in Turkey at the Supreme Audit Institution, the international audit/consulting company Ernst and Young and Microsoft offices.
They were introduced to international practices related to the audit of consolidated financial statements, budget performance analysis, electronic audit and analysis management systems, the use of artificial intelligence in audits, and IT audits.
The working visit of the auditors took place within the framework of the technical assistance project to strengthen auditor capacities supported by the Economic Governance and Fiscal Accountability Program of the EU, by the World Bank.
More than 50 auditors participated in the international practice-sharing program, which included one-year training processes.
