The employees of the State Budget and Strategic Analysis Department, together with the representatives of the SAIs from North Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Moldova, Romania and Ukraine, participated in the seminar convened in the Hague, at the Netherlands Court of Audit.
The workshop topic was identifying stakeholders by Supreme Audit Institutions and strengthening their engagement to improve audit impact.
The participants shared the experiences of the Netherlands and other countries on how audit impact can be achieved through stakeholder engagement and what forms of communication are used by SAIs to receive feedback.
The meeting was also hosted at the office of Oxfam Novib, the partner non-governmental organization of the NCA, where the participants were introduced to the forms of bilateral cooperation and the results of the partnership.
The State Audit Office of Georgia was represented by Tsotne Karkashadze, the Head of the State Budget and Strategic Analysis Department, Salome Verulashvili and Sophiko Khachidze, the Analysts of the Strategic Analysis Unit.
The project "Improving audit impact through stakeholders engagement" supported by the Constituency Programme financed by the Ministry of Finance of the Netherlands included two online webinars and a working visit to the SAI of the Netherlands.
