With the support of the EU project "Support to external security sector oversight in Georgia", auditors from various departments have undergone specialized cybersecurity training.
The training pertained the issues related to cyber resilience, including cybersecurity as a key component of national security. The program included information sharing over the challenges in cyberspace and the actions developed in response to them. The auditors have received adequate training to identify potential risks such as cyber-attacks and unauthorized access to systems, networks and programs during the audit.
The European Union Project "Support to external security sector oversight in Georgia" helps the SAO to strengthen its professional capabilities in audits related to defense and security sector.
