State Audit Office as an auditor of the programme funded by the European Union took part in the closing conference of the Black Sea Basin (BSB) 2014-2020 Programme. Vakhtang Pertaia, Chief Auditor of the General State Services Audit Department, represented the State Audit Office at the meeting held in Constanta, Romania.
The State Audit Office assists Romanian Court of Accounts (Audit Authority of BSB) in carrying out audits of the Programme beneficiaries in Georgia.
The Black Sea Basin Programme 2014-2020 is part of European Union’s Cross-Border Cooperation (CBC) under its European Neighbourhood Instrument (ENI).
The programme covers the following countries: Romania, Bulgaria, Georgia, Greece, Moldova, Türkiye , Armenia and Ukraine and focuses on promoting business and entrepreneurship and coordinating environmental protection within the Black Sea Region.
The participants of the meeting got acquainted with the results of the projects implemented in 2014-2020.
