Revaz Gomelauri, Senior Auditor Assistant of the Defense, Public Order and Security Audit Department, completed a one-month training program, hosted in Noida (India) at the International Center for Information Systems and Auditing (ICISA) of Comptroller and Auditor General of India.
The topic of the international training course was „Receipt and Compliance Audit”. The participants gained insights into the tax systems of various countries, risk identification and analysis practices in compliance audit planning, and audits conducted by the Indian Audit Office.
The training program was attended by 24 representatives of SAIs from 15 countries, who visited the head office of the largest auditing company, PwC, where they were introduced to various technologies for using Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the audit process.
At the end of the training programme, the participants were hosted at the Central Office of the SAI of India and were awarded training certificates by Auditor General Shri K Sanjay Murthy.
As part of bilateral cooperation with India, four auditors from the State Audit Office of Georgia have completed the iCISA training course in 2024.
