Performance and Financial Audit Reports have been discussed in the Parliament 24 March, 2025

The State Audit Office presented performance and financial audit reports for discussion at the session of the Standing Working Group on Audit Reports in the Parliament.

Together with the auditees and members of the Working Group, the auditors discussed the reports on the “Performance Audit of the effectiveness of High-Mountain Settlement Development”, “Financial Audit of Tax Revenues in the Consolidated Financial Statement of Budgetary Organizations” and “Secondary Road Asset Management Project (SRAMP)”. 

The auditors and the auditees – representatives from the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure – answered questions of the MPs on the findings in the reports. They noted that they share the audit findings and the issued recommendations, and that they have an ongoing status.

At the session, Zaza Shekiladze, Deputy Auditor General, Giorgi Kekelishvili, Head of the General State Services Audit Department, and Tornike Shermadini, Head of the Economic Activities Audit Department spoke about the reports of the State Audit Office.
