Auditors from the State Audit Office of Georgia completed the next stage of the Swedish National Audit Office’s (SNAO) Professional Program – “Performance Auditing for Experienced Auditors”, held in Skopje, Macedonia.
Bringing together SAIs performance auditors from eight countries, the program reinforces international standards and facilitates the sharing of best practices in performance auditing.
As part of the program, participants work with mentors to discuss their work on pre-selected topics, refine audit questions and criteria, and interpret audit results.
Auditors of the Social Audit Department Anano Lomaia and Nino Bregvadze, auditor of the Performance Audit Department Natia Chkhvirkia and auditor - intern Kristine Matcharadze have been involved in the program.
The SAO is participating in the program as a member of the Network of SAIs of the Candidate and Potential Candidate Countries for EU Membership.
