The State Audit Office presented two compliance audit reports at the session of the Standing Working Group on Audit Review within the Parliament of Georgia.
The findings and recommendations reflected in the compliance audit reports of the Engurhesi Ltd and the Electricity Market Operator (ESCO) JSC were presented to the MPs.
The audit examinations revealed various shortcomings related to the asset management, procurement, remuneration and bonus allocation, as well as the use of vehicles and fuel management.
The audit findings and recommendations were presented to the MPs by Giorgi Kekelishvili, Head of the General Government and Public Services Audit Department of the SAO.
The auditees agreed with the issued recommendations, noting that the part of them have already been implemented, while others remain in progress.
