The President of the European Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (EUROSAI) and the Auditor General of the Czech Republic Mr. Miroslav Kala held a summary meeting with the Auditor General Tsotne Kavlashvili and the Deputy Auditor General Sophio Dvalishvili within the framework of the end of his presidential term.
The President of EUROSAI thanked the State Audit Office for the active participation and significant contribution to the thematic working groups and events.
The Office constantly shares the findings and recommendations of various thematic audits with the member SAIs and participates in joint audits, which contributes to strengthening international auditing standards and best practices established in the organization.
Within the EUROSAI Task Force on Municipal Audits (TFMA), the experience of the State Audit Office is considered as the best practice in conducting the audits, and this experience is shared by TFMA member SAIs to improve their performance.
EUROSAI is the European organization of INTOSAI, which unites the SAIs of 51 countries and the European Court of Auditors (ECA). The organization aims to ensure professional cooperation and independence of member countries.
Israel will become the chairman of EUROSAI this month.
