The meeting of the Auditor General Irakli Mekvabishvili and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Germany to Georgia Heike Peitsch was held at the State Audit office.
At the meeting, the parties discussed strategic plan of the State Audit Office, which implies the strengthening of communication with the Parliament, Government and stakeholders in terms of public finances management as well as institutional and professional development of the State Audit Office.
The German side expressed readiness to support the State Audit Office and bilateral future cooperation.
The meeting was also attended by Deputy Auditor General Eka Ghazadze and the Head of Development Corporation in South Caucasus Unit of the Embassy of Germany to Georgia Daniel Hass.
