Today, on May 22, the Auditor General Lasha Tordia held briefing in the Tbilisi branch of the State Audit Office, where talked about the motives of the May 13 incident of the current year. The Auditor General Lasha Tordia stated that physical assault carried out on him was caused by the audit activity of the institution, namely, „2015-2016 compliance audit report on the management and disposal of Tbilisi municipality-owned property.”
Coming from the high interest of the society, First Deputy Auditor General Nino Lomjaria presented the interim information as of May 17, 2017, based on the evidences obtained in the framework of the compliance audit on the management and disposal of Tbilisi municipality-owned property, where the former Chief Procurator name is mentioned in the confrontation.
