On April 2014, the Public Audit Institute started launching the public sector audit service certification process for the interested persons. This process is very important for the development of the public sector audit service and is aimed at the raising qualification and after, assessing the knowledge of the auditors working in this sphere.
57 persons expressed their wish to get the certificate. During 2 months they passed through the special qualification course and 29 of them successfully passed the exams. Today, on June 5, these persons got 5-year certificates for acting in the public sector audit sphere.
Public Audit Institute launched the first certification process in 2013. This was the second time the Institute implemented certification process and is going to continue it in the future as well. The State Audit Office and the Public Audit Institute wish success to all the certified public sector auditors in their professional activities.
