On February 8-9, European Commission Special Mission is going to visit Georgia, which will hold workshop aimed at EU budgetary assistance program consultations.
Within the framework of the visit, on February 9, workshop with 12:01 PMEU budgetary assistance recipient and potential recipient state agencies is planned to be held.
At the meeting, EU experts will hold the presentation on the implementation of procedures of the budgetary assistance program as well as will discuss budgetary problematic issues.
It should be noted that the SAO takes active part in different projects carried out by the UE, accordingly, the SAO will participate in the planned meeting as well.
As it is known, EU supports implementation of the „Georgia-EU Association Agreement” by budgetary assistance program, which is aimed at carrying out direct financial transfers to the state budget on the basis of the preliminary agreed obligations.
