The representatives of Audit Department in the Autonomous Republic of Adjara held a meeting in Keda municipality.
Within the framework of the working format, key deficiencies identified during the audit carried out by the State Audit Office as well as progress and significance of the implementation of recommendations issued for the eradication of these gaps were discussed. The presentation was held by the Head of the Department Kakhaber Kirtava.
At the meeting, the State Audit Office expressed its readiness to organize trainings for the municipality staff, which will facilitate the improvement of professionalism of the employees and improve the functioning of the public sector management system.
Audit Department in the Autonomous Republic of Adjara periodically holds meetings in the municipalities of the region to strengthen cooperation in public finance management.
