The Permanent audit group of the Budget and Finance Committee of the Parliament of Georgia reviewing the reports of the State Audit Office (SAO) discussed the Systemic audit reports conducted by the SAO in the law enforcement ministries and the Performance audit reports carried out in the Ministry of Defence of Georgia.
The audit team discussed the key findings and recommendations of the “Performance Audit Report on Provision of law enforcement agencies with uniforms” and the “Performance Audit Report on Real Estate Management of the Ministry of Defence of Georgia“. Head of Defense, Public Order and Security Audit Department, Sophio Dvalishvili presented the reports to the MPs.
Auditees- the representatives of various law enforcement agencies talked about the status of implementation of the recommendations and presented their views on the findings. Deputy Auditor General, Davit Gogichaishvili and Deputy Ministers of relevant agencies answered the questions of the MPs.
