On December 14, at the plenary session held in the Georgian parliament, First Deputy Auditor General Ms. Nino Lomjaria presented finding of the State Audit Office on Georgia’s draft law regarding “Georgia’s 2017 state budget law”.
This finding assesses the validity and legality of expenditures and incomes envisaged in the draft law. At the same time, it reviews current tendencies of 2016 state budget fulfillment and other important issues on the basis of which feasibility of data presented by the draft law is assessed. Moreover, the report focuses on those important issues which have influence on public finance management and which should be considered in the formation of 2017 state budget draft law process.
