Auditor General Irakli Mekvabishvili and Deputy Auditor General Ekaterine Gazadze held a meeting with the Chief of Party of Georgia Good Governance Initiative (GGI) at Tetra Tech ARD David B. Smith, USAID Georgia Democracy, Governance and Social Development Office Deputy Director, Laura B. Berger and other members of the delegation.
At the meeting, the parties discussed key issues of Tetra Tech ARD’s GGI and the State Audit Office and the possibilities of implementing other joint projects. The goal of the GGI is to increase transparency, accountability and performance in Georgia, including the legislative and executive branches at different levels.
