The State Audit Office started a training course "Improvement of Productivity in Public Sector" 15 January, 2018

The Public Audit Institute of the State Audit Office started the training course "Improvement of Productivity in Public Sector". The aim of the training is to give students the basics knowledge of efficient and productive implementation of public management based on the modern methods of the American School of Management.
After a 6-week course, students will be able to set realistic effective management strategies to analyze productivity improvement initiatives and thus facilitate the improvement of public management.

Any person, who is fluent in English can take this course. The training is led by expert of the EU project "Strengthening of Institutional Development of the State Audit Office” Giorgi Alasania.
Auditor General Irakli Mekvabishvili and Deputy Auditor General Davit Gogichaishvili attended the first lecture of the course.
During 2018, the "Public Audit Institute" is also planning to conduct trainings on management of public finances and various audit activities. The "Public Audit Institute" is a LEPL of the State Audit Office, which carries out certification of public sector auditors, ensures the development and carrying out of various training programs, thereby facilitating the improvement of auditors’ qualifications working in public sector and their permanent professional development.

The main objective of the Public Audit Institute is to improve the quality of audits by promoting the qualification of auditors and facilitating preparation of high standard audit findings.
