On November 10, the World Bank and the State Audit Office signed a 125-thousand dollar grant agreement on the project "Increasing citizens’ engagement in audit processes." The main task of the project is the engagement of citizens, NGOs and media representatives in audit processes by using different methods and tools.
Advisory working group was established for the implementation of this project within the framework of which it would be possible to have close relations with the society, to get feedback from stakeholders, to discuss remarks and opinion and coming from the importance of the proposed issues to take them into account.
It should be noted that at the end of the project, strategy of the citizens’ engagement will be prepared, which will facilitate the establishment of the cooperation mechanisms with civil society in a daily activity.
